June Rampup

Okay! Baby's about a month away, so time to ramp up the posts!

My new camera's working great, so I'm going to take some pictures of the baby's room tonight.

Tina's working hard away at her master's thesis to try to graduate this summer. I'm trying to finish up some major experiments, take my GBO, and graduate next summer!

Spent ALL weekend outside (like 7am to 9pm Sat and Sun) in the sun with little to no shade. Saturday I reffed my first paintball tournament. I loved it and hope to do it again and keep going. Sunday we played 5man and did pretty well. Our key front man got in heat trouble after 2 (of 8) games so had to sit out the day so that really hurt, especially since he was so close to winning his last game 1 on 2 but lost the energy (and paint hehe). We managed to hang in there and win some more, and by the end of the day the last game he came back to play one more. We kind of won that game (didn't get the flag pull) but when all the tallies went up, we missed finals by ONE body. THREE POINTS! (when each game is a possible 100 points). That's one single more live player (5pts) on a game we won or one single more dead player (3pts) on games we lost. *sigh* oh well probably was for the best since it was sooo hot!
